We have an annual turnover of over 200 wombats each year suffering from emaciation due to the drought, sarcoptic mange and illegal culling attempts. We are the only organisation rescuing Threatened Southern Hairy Nosed Wombat adults in the world - they are the closest relative to the most endangered marsupial in the world: the Northern Hairy Nosed wombat
